JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP
2010 Junior

Play shall be governed by the Rules of Golf as approved by the United States Golf Association.

Field:  Limited to 96 players. Foreign entries are welcome
Format:  Match Play. Tournament played at scratch. 18-hole stroke-play qualifying for match play. Low 32 qualifiers shall constitute the Championship flight with the final round being 18 holes. All other players will qualify into flights of 16 players with the final round being 18 holes. Consolation in all flights.
Entry Requirements:  Entries are open to amateur female golfers who (1) have an up-to-date 18-hole USGA Handicap Index not to exceed 22.4 under the USGA Handicap System, (2) are girls 18 years of age or younger who will not have reached 19 years of age by the date of the Finals of the Championship, (3) are not college or university students.  Note: A golf club, organization or association affiliation is not a requirement.
Caddies:  
Players shall walk at all times. A player is prohibited from using a caddie during a stipulated round in the Championship.
Awards:  Icely Cup - Champion; Upchurch Trophy - Finalist; Marion Miley Bracelet - junior player having the lowest combined gross score from the qualifying rounds of the current year’s WWGA Amateur and Junior Championships.
