ELIGIBILITY - Entries are open to amateur golfers who
    - were females at birth.
    - have an 18-hole USGA Handicap Index of 10.4 or less.
    - are members of a golf club/organization/association
      that is a 2004 WWGA Member.

ENTRY INFORMATION

$100.00 entry fee must accompany entry application.
$100.00 + $35.00 for foreign entries must accompany
entry application ($35.00 for foreign entries is in
lieu of WWGA club membership dues)

- Entry Deadline: May 27, 2004 at 5:00P.M. (CDT)
- Entries are subject to approval or rejection at any
time by the WWGA Amateur Tournament Committee.
- Notification of acceptance or wait list will be mailed.
- Late or incomplete entries will not be accepted.
- $25.00 administrative fee will be withheld for
cancellations of accepted entries on or before May 27.
- NO REFUNDS for cancellations after May 27.
- Field limited to the low 144 players.

Saturday, June 12  -  1:00 P.M. to   5:00 P.M.  (CDT)
Sunday,   June 13  -  8:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon (CDT)
 



LATE ARRIVAL INFORMATION

Players must register by 12:00 Noon on Sunday, June 13
or have notified Entry Chairman, Ellen Meister at home

Place may be forfeited by a player from whom no

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Match Play

36-hole stroke-play qualifying round.

Tournament played at scratch.
Championship Flight  -  Low 64 qualifiers
Flights of 16 players  -  No Consolation

 

The 36-hole qualifying round and/or the 36-hole final round
of Championship could be modified to a lesser number of
holes due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.


Note:
In fairness to others, it is the responsibility of every
player who enters the match-play portion of the
tournament to continue play until they are eliminated.

AWARDS

W.A. ALEXANDER CUP 
-  Champion.

The champion’s name will be inscribed on the trophy.
‘BABE’ DIDRIKSON ZAHARIAS MEMORIAL TROPHY
  Finalist. The finalist’s name will be inscribed on the

  trophy that is on permanent display at the Nashville
  Golf and Athletic Club, Brentwood, Tennessee.

MARGARET LENZ TROPHY
  -  Medalist.
Lowest gross score from the 36-hole qualifying round.
MASCHMEYER CUP  -  Four players from the same
 state with the lowest combined gross score from the
 36-hole qualifying round.

DERBY CUP 
-  Two players from the same club with

the lowest combined gross score from the 36-hole
qualifying round.

MEDALS
  -  Champion and finalist, championship semi-finalists
and quarterfinalists, flight winners and finalists.
PRACTICE ROUND
(For Contestants Only)

One complimentary practice round will be available

CO-AM  TOURNAMENT
Maple Bluff Country Club invites

all contestants to play in a Co-Am tournament

Sunday, June 13
at 1:30 P.M. Shotgun.
To arrange to play in this event call 608-249-2000.

This event can be used as a second practice round.

CADDIE INFORMATION
All players shall walk. A player may provide her
 own caddie, carry her bag or employ a club caddie,
if available. A player may caddie for another player.


Club Caddie Rate and Conditions
Limited Caddies. A player must employ the same caddie
for 3 consecutive rounds of play for a total of  $90.00 plus tip.
Payable at the Pro Shop prior to play. Call 608-249-2000.

No metal or ceramic spikes permitted.
- Players are required to wear proper golf attire.

- No short shorts, jeans, cut-offs or tank tops.

- No cameras, cell phones, cassette/CD

players or the like allowed on the golf course
