WWGF

The Women's Western Golf Foundation, an outgrowth of the WWGA, was formed in 1971 to receive and distribute funds to advance women in scholastic achievement and collegiate golf programs.  The WWGF accomplishes this by granting academic undergraduate scholarships to worthy and deserving women students, who also have an involvement in the sport of golf, and by providing financial assistance to inadequately funded women's collegiate golf programs.

The Foundation has granted in excess of $3.1 million to more than 450 scholars and over two dozen collegiate Women's Golf Programs.  Its primary source of income and contributions from the WWGA and its Directors, golf clubs and groups participating in the Annual Scholarship Day Event, golf associations, and individual friends of golf and benefactors.

WWGA

Founded in 1901, under the sponsorship of the Western Golf Association, the Women's Western Golf Association has been conducting National Championships for 107 Years.

A champion must have the will to win not just the wish to win....You have to have an attitude that says, "I know I can do it! And I'm GOING to do it"
- Patty Berg
